Financial Advisors Account Adminstrator
Ledyard National Bank is seeking a full-time Account Administrator for our Financial Advisors division in Hanover, NH.
This position is responsible for comprehensive administrative support for one or more Financial Advisors. Responsibilities include preparing correspondence in final form, maintaining files/ records and transaction history, and conducting special projects as assigned. Frequent contact with clients, auditors, CPA’s and attorneys, visitors, and vendors, maintaining positive relationships. Exercises tact, confidentiality, judgment, initiative, and knowledge of functional areas to respond appropriately.
Understands basic facets of investments: this includes income and dividends, bond maturities, trade settlement, corporate actions and cash management. Understands client statements and basic resolution of day to day operational items.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and three-to-five years of financial services experience or the equivalent. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other applications is necessary. The position carries a high level of responsibility and requires the use of discretion and respect for confidentiality. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required, as is the ability to work independently while performing multiple and varied tasks.
The Branch Supervisor provides client services including: assisting new and existing clients in completing transactions or obtaining new services, engaging with clients to learn more about their needs and make appropriate referrals to other business lines within the Bank. This position is also responsible for mentoring new Tellers, providing coaching and ongoing support to Tellers to ensure the operational soundness of the branch.
Our ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three years of banking experience, with two years of supervisory experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary with the ability to calculate figures and amounts using basic math functions. This position is regular, full-time and is located at our Norwich, VT office. Occasional Saturday hours are required..
Full-Time and Part-Time Tellers
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent service to our clients. These services include, but are not limited to: assisting existing clients in completing transactions or obtaining new services and providing services to new clients. In addition, the position provides referrals of new and existing clients to lines of business within the Bank and provides a high level of professionalism in all client interactions.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest and percentages using basic math skills is essential. Attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
