Private Banking Relationship Manager

     The Private Banking Relationship Manager will explore every opportunity to build trusted and enduring relationships with our clients, prospects, and centers of influence by embracing a holistic approach in managing our client’s financial needs and skillfully deliver the full array of services that Ledyard National Bank provides including: retail account management, consumer and mortgage lending, and referring qualified candidates to Ledyard Financial Advisors. 

     Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Business or Finance with 7 or more years of experience in personal banking, lending and/or wealth management. An MBA and/or CFP, CTFA, CFA or other related professional certification is preferred.  Candidates will also have demonstrated negotiating, leadership and sales skills, as well as the ability to perform business and lending calculations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external clients at various levels are required.  Occasional travel outside normal working hours may be required.

Branch Supervisor

     The Branch Supervisor provides client services including: assisting new and existing clients in completing transactions or obtaining new services, engaging with clients to learn more about their needs and make appropriate referrals to other business lines within the Bank. This position is also responsible for mentoring new Tellers, providing coaching and ongoing support to Tellers to ensure the operational soundness of the branch. 
 
     Our ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three years of banking experience, with two years of supervisory experience.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary with the ability to calculate figures and amounts using basic math functions.



Senior Commerical Credit Analyst

     Under the general supervision of the Credit Manager, the Credit Analyst is responsible for preparing loan requests, renewals, and annual reviews of commercial client relationships. The analyst will assess the financial position of commercial clients preparing concise analysis to support the Bank’s credit decisions, identifying and defining risk, and providing independent recommendations. It is expected the Credit Analys will continue to develop analytical skills through continuing education. Completes various administrative duties and projects to support the Bank’s ongoing credit and risk administrative functions.
 

     Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a minimum of two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  The ability to read and interpret financial statements and tax returns is required. Analytical skills are essential. Must possess the ability to communicate both in writing and verbally, and be able to present information to varying levels of bank personnel. The incumbent must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be naturally inquisitive, have a positive attitude, and the ability to complete work within the required, often fast-paced, moving timelines. 
  

Part-Time and Full-Time Teller
 

     The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent service to our clients. These services include, but are not limited to: assisting existing clients in completing transactions or obtaining new services and providing services to new clients. In addition, the position provides referrals of new and existing clients to lines of business within the Bank and provides a high level of professionalism in all client interactions. 

     Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest and percentages using basic math skills is essential.  Attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
