Private Banking Administrator

     This relationship-based position is responsible for providing superior service to current and prospective professional clients. The duties include a variety of functions, such as assisting with transactions, integrating new services from the Bank’s Retail, Lending and Financial Services lines of business.  The Private Banking Administrator will utilize a concierge approach when coordinating and delivering all products and services, as it is the Bank’s objective to develop comprehensive and enduring relationships with its Private Banking clients.

     Our ideal candidate will have an Associate’s Degree in Business, Accounting or similar field with a minimum of five years’ experience in personal banking, mortgage lending and/or wealth management.  Candidates must have demonstrated negotiation, leadership and sales skills and a general knowledge of investments, tax and legal issues relative to the banking industry.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are necessary to articulate information to clientele and internal personnel at varying levels.  The incumbent is expected to cultivate a detailed knowledge of retail banking and lending products and other bank services Ledyard provides, to assist clients in achieving their goals and objectives.  


PT Teller, New London, NH Branch Office

 
   The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent service to our clients. These services include, but are not limited to: assisting existing clients in completing transactions or obtaining new services and providing services to new clients. In addition, the position provides referrals of new and existing clients to lines of business within the Bank and provides a high level of professionalism in all client interactions.  

     Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest and percentages using basic math skills is essential.  Attention to detail and organizational skills are required. 



Commerical Credit Analyst

     Under the general supervision of the Credit Manager, the Credit Analyst isresponsible for preparing loan requests, renewals, and annual reviews of commercial client relationships. The analyst will assess the financial position of commercial clients preparing concise analysis to support the Bank’s credit decisions, identifying and defining risk, and providing independent recommendations. It is expected the incumbent will continue to develop analytical skills through continuing education. Completes various administrative duties and projects to support the Bank’s ongoing credit and risk administrative functions.
 

     Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a minimum of two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  The ability to read and interpret financial statements and tax returns is required. Analytical skills are essential. Must possess the ability to communicate both in writing and verbally, and be able to present information to varying levels of bank personnel. The incumbent must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be naturally inquisitive, have a positive attitude, and the ability to complete work within the required, often fast-paced, moving timelines.
