Christopher J. Taylor

Christopher J. Taylor

Senior Vice President & Chief Retail Banking Officer

Chris joined Ledyard in 2009 as Senior Vice President and Retail Banking Leader. He has over 36 years experience in the financial services industry, with employment at Scarsdale National Bank & Trust Company, The Bank of New York (BNY) and Hudson Valley National Bank.

Chris began his career at Scarsdale National and during the next 17 years, he served in various capacities including CFO, COO and finally as President /CEO. The bank was acquired by BNY, where he spent the next 16 years and was responsible for their branches in various geographical areas in metro-New York leading to overall responsibility for all Retail Banking. Chris then spent three years at Hudson Valley, initially as COO and later as EVP-Business Development.

Chris has served on numerous boards including New York Business Development Corporation, New York Banker’s Association, Westchester County Association, Ferncliff Cemetery and Pace University.

Chris earned his B.S.-Finance from Siena College and his M.B.A.-Finance from Iona Graduate School for Business.

Gail M. Broughton

Vice President & Banking Office Manager, Norwich

Gail Broughton joined Ledyard National Bank as one of the original team members in 1991. She has over 30 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Ledyard, Gail was the Assistant Vice President at Dartmouth Savings Bank in Hanover, where she was in charge of the Retail Division.

Gail is a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking at the University of New Hampshire.

In addition to her responsibilities at Ledyard, she has served on several boards of civic & charitable organizations in the Upper Valley including the United Way and is currently a member of the Norwich Business Council.

Sandy Clavelle

Sandy Clavelle

Assistant Vice President & Banking Office Manager, West Lebanon

Sandy Clavelle has worked in the Financial Services industry for 8 years. Prior to joining Ledyard, she served as Associate Financial Advisor, Market Manager, and Financial Services Manager with Chittenden Bank, a Division of People's United Bank, in White River Junction., Vermont. Sandy was primarily responsible for consumer and commercial development, including small business and consumer loans. She and her team delivered business financial solutions to consumers throughout the Upper Valley.

Sandy has attended several banking related training programs over the years. She recently customized and instructed a program for the Hartford Career and Technology Center.

Sandy is an active member of her community. She serves as Treasurer for the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce and is on the Board of Directors with the Hartford Development Corporation. She is also on the Hartford Career and Technology Center Advisory Committee for the Finance and Business Management Program. She volunteers with Everybody Wins as a reading mentor.

Sandy attended Greenfield Community College in Greenfield, Massachusetts and the University of Lowell in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Cara Dyke

Banking Office Manager, Lyme

Cara Dyke has over 11 years of retail banking experience. She began her career at Ledyard in 1999 as a teller in the bank's Norwich, Vermont branch. She further developed her banking knowledge and skill set in our Lyme, New Hampshire branch from 2001 to 2002. Soon thereafter, Cara was promoted into a leadership position at our Lebanon, New Hampshire branch, including Branch Supervisor as well as Personal Banking Officer/Assistant Manager.

In July 2010, Cara returned to the Lyme branch as its Banking Office Manager.

During Cara's 11 years in the financial services industry, she has completed numerous banking, professional management, and information technology courses.

Diane L. Marchegiani

Diane L. Marchegiani

Assistant Vice President & Banking Office Manager, Lebanon

Diane Marchegiani has over 22 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Ledyard National Bank, she was a Vice President at Citizens Bank/RBS Lynk in Norwood, Massachusetts. In that position she was responsible for Relationship Management for the Bank’s Major Merchant Portfolio.

Diane joined the Staff of Ledyard National Bank in October, 2008; she relocated to the Upper Valley in March, 2007. Prior to that she lived in the Boston area and worked for Citizens Bank for 21 years.

Diane is an active member in the Lebanon Rotary and she volunteers monthly at the Good Neighbor Health Clinic in White River Junction, Vermont. Prior to that in Massachusetts, she volunteered for a number of charities/non-profits to work at events. Diane also organized 30 staff members from Citizens Bank to work at a local food pantry in Norwood, MA, volunteering to stock shelves on a weekly basis. She was also a Board Member of Northeast Acquirers Association for 5 years.

Diane graduated with an AA in Paralegal Studies from Mt. Ida College in Newton, MA and a B.S. in Business Administration from North Adams State College, North Adams, MA.

Mary E. White

Mary E. White

Vice President & Banking Office Manager, Hanover

Mary White has worked in the financial services industry for more than 12 years. Prior to joining Ledyard National Bank, she served as an Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for Sovereign Bank, located in Hollis, New Hampshire. In that position she was responsible for all the branch activities including small business development and small business lending. Mary managed the top performing branch for Sovereign for 10 years.

Mary’s past affiliations include Hollis/Brookline Rotary; Advisory Board for Nashua Humane Society and the Advisory Board for Hear in New Hampshire as well as assisting in many community events.

Mary has attended several banking specific training programs throughout her career and has been instrumental in establishing In-Store banking in New York with the management of the pilot branch for Columbia Federal Savings Bank, which served as the training branch for their entire In-Store program. Mary also helped to implement extensive sales training for bank employees throughout her career.

Karen Zurheide

Karen Zurheide

Regional President, New London/Lake Sunapee

Karen Zurheide joined Ledyard in 2011 as Regional President for the New London/Lake Sunapee Region. She is responsible for Ledyard’s activities within those markets.

Prior to joining Ledyard, Karen served as Executive Director of The Fells, a historic estate and gardens in Newbury, NH, where she worked with the Board to craft the strategic vision, managed the site’s finances, developed partnerships and oversaw all marketing. Karen has also held a number of management and operations positions in the financial services industry, including Vice President of Operations for Mortgage Management Systems, a residential mortgage brokerage, and Accounting Manager for PERQ, an international marketing research firm.

Karen earned her MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a BA in Psychology from Gordon College in Wenham, MA. She is a published author on subjects pertaining to social, family and poverty issues
and has a keen understanding of family dynamics from a social and economic standpoint.
