Community Development
Support for organizations that provide economic opportunities for our communities’ residents. Our Community Development outreach fosters worthwhile community reinvestment, such as:
- The development of innovative responses to basic human needs.
- Fair housing and community services targeted to low and moderate-income families and individuals.
- New ways to address issues of economic self-sufficiency.
- Academic achievement and success of local area youth programs.
- Preservation of land and buildings of historic value.
Human Services
Support for local human services organizations through corporate donations and employee participation.
Arts & Culture
Support for organizations that provide arts and cultural activities which further the goals of enhancing the economic development and the quality of life in our communities.

TYPES OF SUPPORT
We provide many types of support to the communities we serve, including:
Grants/Charitable Contributions
Benefits people or a cause in the community with no goods or services rendered in exchange for the gift. Ledyard National Bank grants are directed to the communities we serve. They are primarily made to support specific programs or capital fund requests, and are generally not intended for annual operating support.
Community Donations
These are contributions that generally benefit local non-profit organizations (e.g., schools, town recreation programs, clubs, etc.) that rely on fundraising to accomplish a goal.
Sponsorships/Events
Contributions that support non-profit fund raising events and provide an opportunity for the bank to participate in the event through advertising, attendance or other means.
Employee Outreach
Ledyard National Bank employees are committed to the community through their own generosity as well. Our Officers and Employees are encouraged to participate in civic, charitable, educational and cultural organizations.

All requests for funding that fall within the scope of our support will be given full consideration. Final approval of funding is subject to the Charitable Contributions Committee of Ledyard National Bank. Request Form should be sent to:
