SVP, Manager of Private Banking
The Manager of Private Banking is responsible for planning, developing and overseeing a new business line to include hiring staff, setting goals and leading the team. The Manager of Private Banking develops relationships with professionals with current or potential high net worth and/or income. This position promotes solutions for professional clients for banking, credit needs and investment advice for prospective clients.
Candidates must have Bachelor's degree in business or finance and seven or more years experience in personal banking, lending and/or wealth management.
Compliance and Operations Assistant
This is a full time cross-functional position supporting both the Operations department, and the Compliance department. Duties include assisting the Compliance Officer in identifying and reporting fraudulent scams, vendor management and information security, maintaining audit issues tracking logs, and maintaining cameras and alarm systems. Operations duties include processing ACH files, ATM files, Fed Forward files, deposit account maintenance, imaging account related documents and performing proof of customer deposits and teller cash-in/cash-out batches. Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Two years banking experience preferred.
Senior Consultant, Brokerage Services
Ledyard National Bank is accepting applications for a full time Financial Consultant/Broker. This individual will assume full responsibility for the existing brokerage program upon the pending retirement of the current financial consultant/broker.
We require demonstrated successful comprehensive client solution experience as a licensed securities registered representative and financial consultant. This position is responsible for initial and ongoing relationships with new referrals provided by Ledyard National Bank as well as individual sourcing of new clients. Working across a wide spectrum of investments and insurance products with new and existing clients broadens and deepen relationships.
Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in industry related activities, a college degree, current FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66 with a clean U-4.
Full-Time and Part-Time Tellers
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent service to our clients. These services include, but are not limited to: assisting existing clients in completing transactions or obtaining new services and providing services to new clients. In addition, the position provides referrals of new and existing clients to lines of business within the Bank and provides a high level of professionalism in all client interactions.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest and percentages using basic math skills is essential. Attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
