SVP, Manager of Private Banking

        The Manager of Private Banking is responsible for planning, developing and overseeing a new business line to include hiring staff, setting goals and leading the team. The Manager of Private Banking develops relationships with professionals with current or potential high net worth and/or income. This position promotes solutions for professional clients for banking, credit needs and investment advice for prospective clients.                 

       Candidates must have Bachelor's degree in business or finance and seven or more years experience in personal banking, lending and/or wealth management.

Mortgage Loan Processor, Closer and Servicing Specialist

        Ledyard National Bank is seeking an experienced individual to join our Mortgage Lending team. Job duties include compliant loan disclosure, assembly and verification of all loan documents, ensuring all loan files contain proper signatures, dates and other relevant data. Checking files for accuracy, title review, closing dates and funding, and uploading closed files are also critical functions. This position is accountable for the accuracy and completeness of all loan documentation.                  

       The successful candidate will have three years’ experience in consumer/mortgage processing, closing and/or servicing. Superior customer service and organizational skills are essential.

Full-Time and Part-Time Tellers

       The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent service to our clients. These services include, but are not limited to: assisting existing clients in completing transactions or obtaining new services and providing services to new clients. In addition, the position provides referrals of new and existing clients to lines of business within the Bank and provides a high level of professionalism in all client interactions. 

       Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest and percentages using basic math skills is essential.  Attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
