Investment Support Specialist

        Ledyard National Bank has an opening in our wealth management group for an Investment Support Specialist. This position provides administrative support for investment team, assists with trade executions for clients, prepares presentations and client documents, produces monthly reports and works closely with all areas of the Wealth Management Department.  

       The successful candidate will have three years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in a financial organization. Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills are essential along with superior customer service and organizational skills.
       
       

Staff Accountant

        Ledyard National Bank has an opening for a Staff Accountant in our Finance group. This position is responsible for Accounts Payable, Central Purchasing, fixed assets, limited general ledger accounting, reconciliations as well as administrative support of the Finance departments’ extensive reporting commitments.. 

       The successful candidate will have a certificate in accounting and two years’ experience in banking or related financial experience, and a strong ability to communicate with internal and external contacts. An ability to understand and apply proper accounting methods and perform duties with minimal direction is required.
       

Account Administrator

        Ledyard National Bank is seeking an experienced Account Administrator for our wealth management group, Ledyard Financial Advisors. Job duties include completing documentation to open new accounts or to close accounts, working with clients on deposits, disbursements, transfer of assets, gifting and other transactions. The successful candidate will have experience with Trusts and other legal documents, and have at least five years relevant experience. Superior customer service and organizational skills are essential.

       

Commercial Credit Analyst

       The Credit Analyst is responsible for preparing loan requests, renewals, and annual reviews of commercial client relationships. This position will assess the financial position of commercial clients preparing concise analysis to support the Bank’s credit decisions, identifying and defining risk, and providing independent recommendations. Additional tasks include various administrative duties and projects to support the Bank’s ongoing credit and risk administrative functions. 

       Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with a minimum of two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The ability to read and interpret financial statements and tax returns is required. Analytical skills are essential. Must possess the ability to communicate both in writing and verbally, and be able to present information to varying levels of bank personnel. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are required. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, and the ability to complete work within the required, often fast-paced, moving timelines.        



       

Senior Consumer/Mortgage Lending Officer

        Ledyard National Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Consumer and Mortgage Lending Officer. This position directs all consumer lending activities to ensure sales goals are met and procedures and policies are followed. Duties include new business development, review of loan requests for compliance, and supervision of loan officers and processers. The successful candidate will have prior experience in leading a consumer and mortgage lending group, possess strong management skills and lead in a collaborative manner.

       

Full-Time and Part-Time Tellers

       The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent service to our clients. These services include, but are not limited to: assisting existing clients in completing transactions or obtaining new services and providing services to new clients. In addition, the position provides referrals of new and existing clients to lines of business within the Bank and provides a high level of professionalism in all client interactions. 

       Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest and percentages using basic math skills is essential.  Attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
