Consumer/Mortgage Loan Closing Specialist

       Ledyard National Bank is seeking an experienced Loan Closing Specialist for our Consumer/Mortgage Lending team. Job duties include assembly and verification of all loan documents, ensuring all loan files contain proper signatures, dates and other relevant data. Checks files for accuracy, legal descriptions, closing dates and funding. Uploads closed files to MortgageBot and Sparak, and maintains all files. Prepares packaged files for investors. Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of all loan documentation. The successful candidate will have three years’ experience in consumer/mortgage administration and experience in preparing legal documentation for real estate transactions. Superior customer service and organizational skills are essential.


       

Universal Personal Banker

       The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent service to our clients. Universal Personal Bankers proactively engage with clients to fully understand their needs and identify the right products and solutions to achieve their financial goals. These services include assisting existing clients in completing transactions, obtaining new services, and providing services to new clients. In addition, the position requires referrals of potential clients to other businesses within the Bank. A high level of professionalism in all client interactions is essential. Ideal candidates will have sales and service experience with a focus on upselling, strong listening skills and the ability to ask questions to identify needs. The ability to build strong relationships with teammates and business partners through collaboration is essential. Attention to detail and ability to adapt to change is necessary. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest and percentages using basic math skills.

       

Full-Time and Part-Time Tellers

       The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent service to our clients. These services include, but are not limited to: assisting existing clients in completing transactions or obtaining new services and providing services to new clients. In addition, the position provides referrals of new and existing clients to lines of business within the Bank and provides a high level of professionalism in all client interactions. 

       Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  The ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest and percentages using basic math skills is essential.  Attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
