Ledyard National Bank is pleased to announce that Karen Johnson Zurheide has joined its New London office as Regional President. She will be responsible for Ledyard’s activities in the New London/Lake Sunapee region.
Prior to joining Ledyard, Karen served as Executive Director of The Fells, an historic estate and gardens in New London, where she worked with the Board to craft the strategic vision, managed the site’s finances, developed partnerships and oversaw all marketing. Karen has also held a number of management and operations positions in the financial services industry, including Vice President of Operations for Mortgage Management Systems, a residential mortgage brokerage, and Accounting Manager for PERQ, an international marketing research firm.
Karen earned her MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a BA in Psychology from Gordon College in Wenham, MA. She is a published author on subjects pertaining to social, family and poverty issues and has a keen understanding of family dynamics from a social and economic standpoint.
Karen resides in New London, New Hampshire.
