Ledyard National Bank was recognized for its community involvement at the annual New England Financial Marketing Awards celebration on September 26. The awards are the oldest and most respected recognition of creativity and accomplishment in financial service marketing.
The NEFMAs are broken up into six categories including brand, loan, deposit, service, public relations and internal marketing. Ledyard was presented with the Gold award in the Public Relations category. The submission was based on Ledyard’s Go Red for Women campaign, part of the American Heart Association’s initiative.
“We’re thrilled to receive such fantastic recognition from our colleagues in the banking industry,” said Jeff Marks, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “Ledyard’s partnership with the American Heart Association has been very rewarding and we will continue to work together as we create greater awareness for heart health, specifically, and healthier living, in general.”
The American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women initiative is a movement to help dispel the myths and raise awareness of heart disease as the number one killer of women. It is a social initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health.
